Chateau de Bruges is committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests and staff members. This policy document outlines the rules and guidelines that govern behavior, safety, and operations within the premises of Chateau de Bruges.

Guest Conduct:
-Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful to fellow guests, staff members, and the property itself.
-Any disruptive behavior, including but not limited to excessive noise, harassment, or damage to property, will not be tolerated.
-Guests must adhere to all posted signs and instructions provided by staff members.


Safety and Security:
-Chateau de Bruges prioritizes the safety and security of its guests and staff members.
-Guests are required to report any suspicious activity or concerns to the front desk or security personnel immediately.
-Emergency exits and evacuation procedures are clearly marked throughout the premises. Guests are expected to familiarize themselves with these procedures upon arrival.


Smoking and Substance Use:
-Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all indoor areas of Chateau de Bruges, including guest rooms and common areas.
-The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited on the premises.
-Guests who violate these policies will be subject to eviction and possible legal action.

Privacy and Data Protection:
-Chateau de Bruges respects the privacy of its guests and complies with all applicable data protection laws.
-Guest information is collected and used solely for the purpose of providing services and improving the guest experience.
-Guest information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

-Chateau de Bruges is committed to minimizing its environmental impact and promoting sustainability.
-Guests are encouraged to participate in our recycling and conservation efforts during their stay.

Cancellation Policy


Cancellation Timeframe:
-Cancellations made more than 5 days before the scheduled arrival date: Guests will forfeit a 20% deposit but will be refunded 80% of the total cost of their stay.
-Cancellations made 5 days or less before the scheduled arrival date: Guests will forfeit the entire payment and will not be eligible for any refund.


Cancellation Procedure:
-Guests must notify Chateau de Bruges of any cancellations in writing via email, by telephone or through our online booking system.
The cancellation will be considered effective from the date and time it is received by Chateau de Bruges.


Refund Process:
-Refunds for cancellations made more than 5 days before the scheduled arrival date will be processed within 48 hours from the time of cancellation.
-Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used for the booking.
-Refunds can take up 5-10 working days to show in your account.


Non-Refundable Circumstances:
-No refunds will be provided for early departures or unused portions of the reservation.
-Chateau de Bruges reserves the right to cancel reservations in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, guests will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund will be provided.


Modifications:
-Changes to reservations, including adjustments to the arrival or departure dates, are subject to availability and may be subject to additional charges.

Force Majeure:
-Chateau de Bruges shall not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform its obligations under this policy if such failure is the result of a force majeure event, including but not limited to acts of nature, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

Acceptance:
-By making a reservation at Chateau de Bruges, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms of this cancellation policy.

Pet Policy

Bedding Policy:
Pets are not permitted on the beds or bedding at any time.
Additional cleaning and laundry charges may apply if pets are found to have been on the bedding.


No Alone Time:
Pets may not be left unattended in the rooms or anywhere within the Chateau or its grounds at any time.

Owner Responsibility:
We do not offer a pet sitting service, so please ensure you remain with your pet at all times during your stay with us.

Damage Agreement:
Any damage, mess, or marks made by your pets may incur additional cleaning or repair charges, which you agree to pay at the end of your stay.

Clean-up Duty:
You may walk your pet within the Chateau grounds, but please pick up any waste your pet may leave.
If other guests are using the grounds, pets should be kept on a lead.


Safety Disclaimer:
We are unable to accept any responsibility for the safety of your pet during your stay with us, and they remain your sole responsibility at all times.

Wellness Weekend Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Timeframe:
-Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date: Guests will be refunded 100% of the cost of their treatments. (Seperate Cancellation policy for bed and board - See Cancellation Policy)
-Cancellations made 48 hours or less before the scheduled arrival date: Guests will forfeit the entire payment and will not be eligible for any refund.

-Guests must notify Chateau de Bruges of any cancellations in writing via email, by telephone or through our website chat function.
The cancellation will be considered effective from the date and time it is received by Chateau de Bruges.
